Javier Rodriguez y Noelia Barsi (Argentina)
Javier Rodriguez is one of the “founding masters” of the Taipei Tango Festival, participating in nine of the previous ten editions of this event. He has teached many of the people who would become excellent dancers and organizers in Asia. Javier faithfully transmits tango culture and focuses on the conservation of codes and etiquette, making a great impact in the tango scene in Eastern Asia. This is Javier y Noelia’s first appearance at the Taipei Tango Festival.
Javier Rodriguez 是台北國際探戈節「創節元老」級的大師，前十屆出席九屆，與台北淵源極深。許多傑出的亞洲探戈舞者及活動主辦者曾在歷屆台北國際探戈節向他學習。他對於探戈文化、傳統禮儀之維繫、音樂播放之選擇等等著墨甚深，忠實而全面地傳遞探戈文化的火炬，對於阿根廷探戈在亞洲有著深遠的影響。此次為 Javier 與 Noelia 首次搭檔擔任台北國際探戈節大師，讓我們期待他們將帶來的探戈饗宴！
Sebastian Achaval y Roxana Suarez (Argentina)

Fernando Galera y Vilma Vega (Argentina)
Fernando Galera and Vilma Vega are professional tango dancers and teachers with a broad and varied background and vast experience, working with important orchestras such as Sexteto Mayor, Color Tango, Beba Pugliese, and Sexteto Canyengue among others. By opening their own tango place together with the dancers Vanina Bilous they have established themselves firmly in Buenos Aires. The Nuevo Estudio La Esquina is a centre of learning, training and specialisation for local and foreign students alike.
擁有逾二十年探戈工作經驗的 Fernando Galera 及 Vilma Vega 師承多位重量級探戈大師，曾與 Sexteto Mayor、Color Tango、Sexteto Canyengue 等重要樂團合作演出。在布宜諾斯艾利斯市與 Vanina Bilous 合作開設探戈教室 Nuevo Estudio La Esquina，悉心教導阿根廷內外之探戈舞者。十年來參與多項影片之演出並經常旅行至歐洲各地傳播探戈的種子。九月是是這對大師第二度到訪台灣！
INTERNATIONAL DANCERS -- 國際舞者
Akiyoshi & Noriko Tanada (Tokyo)
Akiyoshi & Noriko are one of the most famous tango dance couples in Japan. Their tango style is dramatic and graceful, filling the poetic sentiment of tango.They began to dance tango in 1990, and found the Tango Project Japan in 1999.
They are skilled tango teachers who teach not only in japan but also in foregin countries, and are excellent tango dancers invited to perform at tango shows. They were champions at the 3rd Tango Dance World Championship in Asia in stage category in 2006. Akiyoshi is the chairman of NAPTA (Nihon Asociacion Profesional de bailarines de Tango Argentino).
Akiyoshi & Noriko 是當今日本最負盛名的探戈對伍之一。舞風戲劇化而優雅，將探戈的詩意注入到舞蹈當中。於 1990 接觸探戈，並於 1999 創立 Tango Project Japan。Akiyoshi & Noriko 是經驗豐富的探戈老師，不僅在日本也在其他國家教課，並以其精湛舞技受邀在不同探戈秀當中表演。榮獲 2006 第三屆亞洲探戈大賽舞台探戈組冠軍。Akiyoshi 並擔任日本阿根廷探戈職業舞者協會（NAPTA）會長。
Sae & Juan Carlos (Tokyo)
Sae & Juan Carlos, who began dancing Argentine Tango together in September 2006, are designated winners of the Asian Tango Championship 2007 and finalists of the Tango World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina 2007 and 2010. They have performed at many of the most traditional and prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires, and the local milongueros have given them enthusiastic ovation for their outstanding performances. Now their traditional dance style, embodying passion and elegance, is bringing them international praise. In the past year, they have received countless and continuous invitations to teach as professional tango masters and to participate in international tango festivals in Korea, Beijing, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and more. They started to teach and perform as professional tango dancers in Japan in 2007. In January 2009, they produced and organized an Argentine tango dance party called LABIOS DE TANGO, which was held for several years. In March of 2009, they were recognized as members of NAPTA (Nippon Argentine Tango Professionals’ Association), and in 2013, Juan Carlos was installed as a member of the Directive Committee of NAPTA. In January 2011, Sae and Juan Carlos opened Studio MUSE and founded their Traditional Argentine Tango Dance School. In 2013, Sae and Juan Carlos founded the Association of Promotion of Art & Culture, Inc.
Sae & Juan Carlos 於 2006 年 9 月開始搭檔，曾獲 2007 年亞洲探戈大賽首獎並入圍 2007 及 2010 布宜諾斯艾利斯世界探戈大賽決賽。他們曾在布宜諾斯艾利斯最著名的舞會表演，獲得當地資深舞者極大的好評。他們傳統中帶有熱情及優雅的舞風在國際間受到讚揚。一年來他們受邀以探戈大師的身份巡迴教學並參加韓國、北京、台灣、香港、上海、東京等地探戈節。Sae & Juan Carlos 於 2007 年轉任為職業舞者，於 2009 年 1 月自行籌辦探戈活動 LABIOS DE TANGO，並於 3 月加入日本阿根廷探戈職業舞者協會（NAPTA）。Juan Carlos 於今年出任該協會管理層級。Sae & Juan Carlos 於 2011 開辦 Studio MUSE 及其阿根廷傳統探戈學校，於 2013 年成立藝術及文化推廣協會。
Odile & Jose Luis "Mool" (Seoul)
Odile is a tango dancer and teacher and CEO of her tango shoes brand “Odile”. Jose Luis is a tango dancer, DJ and teacher. Together they started tango in 2005, and started teaching in 2009. They have performed in Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul, Busan, Sydney, Athens, and especially in Buenos Aires in renowned milongas like Sunderland, Cachirulo, Club Gricel and La Baldosa. They learned from Javier Rodriguez & Andrea Misse, Sebastian Misse & Andrea Reyero and from Andres Laza Moreno “Bichi”.
Odile 為探戈舞者、老師及探戈舞鞋品牌 “Odile” 執行長。Jose Luis 為探戈舞者、DJ 及老師。Odile & Jose Luis 於 2005 開始跳探戈，並於 2009 開始授課。他們曾於台北、香港、首爾、釜山、雪梨、雅典等地表演，特別是曾在布宜諾斯艾利斯 Sunderland, Cachirulo, Club Gricel, La Baldosa 等著名舞會表演。Odile & Jose Luis 師承 Javier Rodriguez & Andrea Misse, Sebastian Misse & Andrea Reyero 以及 Andrea Laza Moreno “Bichi”。
Adam & Courtney Cornett (Portland)
Adam began his obsession with dance in 2000, when he found tango. The organic movement and improvisational nature of the dance appealed to his desire for exploration. His teaching style is grounded and tactile, as he experiences tango as a physical, reactionary dance. His aim is to make the dance feel good, as well as look good. He encourages his students to be creative, inventive, playful, and musical, as these are the qualities he cherishes most about tango. Courtney started her relationship with tango in 2005 at the University of Oregon. She connected instantly with the complex, layered style of tango music and fell in love with the intuitive feel of the dance. With her extensive background as a classical musician, tango appealed to her need for musical freedom of expression in dance. Her dancing highlights an elegant quality of movement and musicality. The improvisatory nature of tango is emphasized in her teaching, focusing on clear communication between the dancers and the sensations that each movement carries.
Adam 於 2000 年發現探戈之後展開對於舞蹈的執著。探戈舞蹈的有機動作以及即興的本質喚起他探索的慾望。他的教學風格紮實而富有觸感，以肢體及作用的形式實驗探戈。他的主旨是讓舞蹈兼具舒適與美感。他鼓勵學生展現創意並靈活詮釋音樂；這些也正是他最喜愛的探戈特質。Courtney 與探戈的關係始於 2005 的奧勒岡大學，立刻跟複雜、多層次的探戈音樂產生連結並愛上舞蹈的直覺性質。在深厚的古典音樂背景下，探戈滿足他藉由舞蹈自由詮釋音樂的需求。他的舞蹈兼具優雅的質感與音樂性。教學上強調即興的本質，並著重舞者間的溝通與動作本身的感受。
Daniel Liu & Anna Chin (Taipei)
Daniel & Anna are tango dancers, teachers and form part of the management team at Tanguisimo Tango Space, Taipei. They organize milongas, workshops, cultural talks and have been the main organizers of the Taipei Tango Festival since 2010. They have performed in different occassions in Tokyo, Hiroshima, Seoul and Taipei. Daniel started tango in 1997 and is regarded as one of the pioneers of Argentine tango in Taiwan, co-founding the Taipei Tango Association in 2000, the Taipei Tango Festival in 2003 and Tanguisimo Tango Space in 2008. His working experience include coaching and making choroegraphies for many artists in the show business including A-Mei, Isaac Hu, Jody Chiang, Tanya Tsai, Sandrinne Pinna, and Chiling Lin. Anna is a multi-talented model, actress, voice actress, magazine editor, artwork designer and tango clothes designer and founded her own tango fashion collection ANNA GOLD Tango Wear in 2010.
Daniel & Anna 為探戈舞者與老師以及台北 Tanguisimo 探戈藝文沙龍之行政團隊成員。他們舉辦舞會、活動、大師營、藝文講座，自 2010 年起合作主辦一年一度的台北國際探戈節。Daniel & Anna 曾受邀於東京、廣島、首爾及台北表演。Daniel 於 1997 年開始接觸探戈，被視為台灣之阿根廷探戈先驅之一，分別於 2000、2003 及 2008 參與台北探戈工作坊、台北國際探戈節及 Tanguisimo 探戈藝文沙龍之創立，均為台灣最早的同類探戈組織。Daniel 曾指導台灣藝人張惠妹、胡啟志、江蕙、蔡健雅、張榕容、林志玲等之探戈舞蹈並為其編舞。Anna 除了探戈的工作也擔任模特兒、演員、配音員、雜誌編輯以及美術設計等工作，於 2010 開始設計探戈服飾並自創品牌 ANNA GOLD Tango Wear。

TANGUISIMO DANCERS -- TANGUISIMO 舞者
I-fan Wu & Agustin Chu
I-fan Wu currently studies at the Taipei National University of Arts in Master Degree for Art Creation. I-fan started dancing tango in 2008, traveling to Buenos Aires in 2010~2012 for tango learning and painting. Main teachers include Andrea Misse & Javier Rodriguez, Lorena Ermocida, Jorge Dispari & Maria del Carmen Romero, Andrea Reyero & Sebastian Misse, Carlos Copello, Marite Lujan, Daniel Juarez & Alejandra Armenti. I-fan performed with different dancers at milongas like Porteno y Bailarin, Salon Canning, El Beso, Sunderland Club (Bday performance), etc. I-fan participated in China Town Chinese New Year performances in Buenos Aires in 2010, 2011 and 2013. In Taipei, she has performed and teached tango in different places and occassions, including tango pieces in theatre and motion pictures, and in the 30th Anniversary banquet of NTUA. She is currently instructor at the NTUA Tango Club and teacher at Tanguisimo Tango Space, as well as an active tango DJ and arts creator. Agustin has years of training in the field of dance, starting tango in 2011, learning from Taipei teachers and visiting argentinean masters. He currently teaches tango with I-fan Wu at Tanguisimo Tango Space.
吳依凡（I-fan Wu）主修藝術創作於國立台北藝術大學碩士班。2008 開始接觸探戈，2010~2012 在布利諾艾利斯市進修探戈與從事繪畫創作。主要學習阿根廷老師有：Andrea Misse & Javier Rodriguez, Lorena Ermocida, Jorge Dispari & Maria del Carmen Romero, Andrea Reyero & Sebastian Misse, Carlos Copello, Marite Lujan, Daniel Juarez & Alejandra Armenti 等許多老師進修。於阿根廷當地舞會與不同舞者表演，如：Porteno y Bailarin, Salon Canning, El Beso, Sunderland Club（慶生演出）等。也在布宜諾斯艾利斯市的中國城春節 2010, 2011 及 2013 新年表演。在台北探戈許多不同活動表演與指導，包括戲劇｛夜色，磚縫裡的探戈｝與｛情人 The Lover｝與電影「迴光」等跨界領域。2012 受邀在國立台北藝術大學三十年校慶晚會指導與演出。目前擔任 TNUA 的探戈社指導老師與在 Tanguisimo 授課，同時從事探戈 DJ 工作與藝術創作。朱君天（Agustin ）擁有多年舞蹈訓練，2011 年開始與台北探戈老師及多位來台阿根廷探戈名師學習；持續進修中，目前與吳依凡在 Tanguisimo 授課。
Anna Chin & Max Lu "Maxgod"
Anna is a tango dancer and teacher and forms part of the management team at Tanguisimo Tango Space. Max started dancing tango in 2009 and currently teaches tango at Tanguisimo. Experience of playing the violin leading an orchestra in the university makes Max a passionate and musical interpreter as a tango dancer, such that tango master Jorge Dispari once said: “I see a lot of potential in this kid”. As a surging dancer Max keeps searching for improvement and wishes to become a top dancer.
Anna 為探戈舞者與老師以及台北 Tanguisimo 探戈藝文沙龍之行政團隊成員。Max 於 2009 年開始接觸探戈，目前為 Tanguisimo 探戈藝文沙龍老師之一。Max 在大學時代演奏小提琴，曾擔任樂團的團長，擁有音樂背景的他在舞蹈的詮釋上極富情感及音樂性，探戈大師 Jorge Dispari 曾當面稱讚："我在這小子身上看到極大的潛力！" 。身為探戈新秀的他仍不斷力求精進，希望未來能成為一流的頂尖的舞者。
